When on the search for the perfect space to represent MH+L’s signature style, Downtown Los Angeles’ Evo South tower fit the bill. Located at the heart of L.A., amidst hot entertainment spots like L.A. Live and the Staple Center, the chic Evo building is at the epicenter of LA. high life. With luxury amenities along with sleek modern architecture, the building and its resort-style atmosphere is the perfect location for entertaining. Evo’s top- floor Penthouse sets the scene for VIP events and commercial shoots with horizon views of the city, floor to ceiling windows, and chic furnishings and interior design.
To achieve the ultimate look of sophisticated style, the Modern Home+ Living team needed the help of someone who is no stranger to modern design. Celebrity designer Kahi Lee, best known for her appearances on HGTV’s Design On a Dime took on the task of making the Penthouse the ultimate VIP hot spot, focusing on giving each room cutting edge style.
With a city as stylish as L.A. as its backdrop, the Modern Home+Living team needed to furnish and design their signature space with innovative pieces and elements that reflect a VIP lifestyle. Luxury furnishing brands took on the challenge of outfitting the 4,000 square-foot space including Lily Jack who provided custom made furniture that combine style and comfort and Originals 22 who lit up the rooms with one-of-a-kind chandeliers that set the moods in each room, offer perfect conversation pieces. The penthouse wall designs, provided by French American Wallpaper Company, express contemporary sophistication with bold colors and textures. Bright palettes and retro-style patterns blend past and present influences. To finish off the stylishly comfortable themes in this luxurious living space, Crate Interiors and HD Buttercup accessorized with pieces that boast sensibility and artistry.
After only three months of being a fully furnished space, the MH+L Penthouse has rapidly become the prime location for VIP events, movie premiere launch parties, and commercial shoots for celebrities like Jason Derulo, who recently shot his latest music video there. Its prime location, luxury amenities, and killer style make this L.A. hot spot the ultimate venue for high-rise living.
